Wednesday 13 May 2009 11:09 CET | News

UK online payment services provider PayPoint.net has added PayPal to its payments platform, as part of a move meant to enable the formers 5,000 online merchants to accept payments via the PayPal payment option.

Under the terms of the agreement between the companies, online merchants who have implemented PayPoint.net’s gateway service can add PayPal to the list of payment options they make available to their customers, an option which can be turned on or off. Via PayPoint.net’s reporting tools, retailers can view PayPal transactions as well as other payment types.

PayPoint.net is a division of PayPoint plc, a company which engages in developing and operating electronic payments collection terminals for clients in the UK, the Republic of Ireland and Romania. It offers internet payments services, including credit and debit card payments for web merchants.
