Thursday 21 March 2013 09:23 CET | News

Paymill, a Germany-based payments service provider, has added Carte Bleue, the European debit card payment system which dominates the French market, to its list of accepted payment methods.

Apart from Carte Bleue, French consumers can pay online using PayPal. Paymill enables online stores and service providers to integrate common payment methods into their platform, with a particular emphasis on online card payments. The company has entered into the French and Dutch markets in February 2013 and is now available in 34 European countries.

In January 2012, Paymill has secured EUR 10 million from investment companies Rocket Internet, Holtzbrinck Ventures and RI Digital and has decided to use the capital to continue its pan-European expansion.
