UK voucher-based prepaid payment services provider Ukash has entered a partnership with Irish online payment company 3V Transaction Services to enable consumers to buy 2012 Olympic Games tickets with e-cash.

Under the terms of the deal, consumers are able to purchase Ukash vouchers at points of sale across the UK and convert them into 3V vouchers online at www.3Vprepaid.com. The conversion process is made via the 3V website, where consumers input a unique 19-digit Ukash voucher code and receive a 3V Visa number by email.

The 3V prepaid Visa vouchers can be spent anywhere Visa is accepted, including the official ticketing website of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Ukash vouchers can be converted into 3V Visa in denominations ranging from GBP 30 to GBP 150.

With over 400,000 customers, 3V Transaction Services operates in Ireland and the UK. In the UK, the company has also developed and operates an online gift card business for eBay, Paypal, Bebo and Habbo.

Ukash enables consumers worldwide to shop, pay and play online using cash and is available at 420,000 retail locations in over 50 countries globally.
