Friday 11 February 2011 11:29 CET | News

Cloud-based services provider Linvio and online accounting services developer FinancialForce.com have entered a partnership to integrate the former’s PaymentConnect e-commerce framework with FinancialForce Accounting on Force.com, the cloud computing platform from salesforce.com.

The newly combined service provides accounting and e-commerce services for salesforce.com customers by connecting invoicing to online payment and recording processed payments against entries in the general account book. Customers are able to pay invoices via the Salesforce CRM application with the appropriate accounting entries automatically generated within FinancialForce Accounting.

Additionally, the PaymentConnect framework includes modules from Linvio and other third-party ISVs which support Force.com-integrated shopping carts, event management, software license management and non-profit donation management.

The FinancialForce application is set to offer Salesforce users accounting capability, while PaymentConnect offers support to managing e-payments, building payment-based workflow automation and integrating services provided by PayPal, Google Checkout, Authorize.Net and RBS Worldpay.
