The launching is set for this year’s World Travel Market, to be held in November 2011, in London.
Via Ixaris Opn Payment Partner application, travel industry organisations will be able to create single-use virtual Visa or MasterCard cards to improve their processes when buying tickets and booking travel services on behalf of customers. In addition, Opn Payment Partner also provides support to travel introducers who need to take commission but pass on the remainder of the customer payment to parties such as hotels and car hire companies.
Some of the main features of the application include card issuing via API, activity notifications as well as the issuance of different card types through the Visa or MasterCard networks.
The Opn Payment Partner is part of a range of products released by Ixaris which enables businesses to build and deploy customised global payment applications using configurable components.
In recent news, Ixaris has introduced the Opn Card Guardian payment application that automates the corporate purchasing process via one-time-use virtual Visa cards.
