India: Standard Chartered releases new offer for online remittances

Global financial services provider Standard Chartered Bank has released a new offer for online remittances to India. The offer is available for three months from 5 March to 31 May 2012 and is applicable for IRP remittances to an Indian beneficiary via Standard Chartereds online banking service.

The service is available to all individual account holders. The cash back will be credited to the customers account every month till the offer expires.

Indian international bank Standard Chartered Bank has 94 branches in 37 cities and a combined customer base of around 2 million retail customers.

In recent news, Standard Chartered Bank has joined forces with Chinese third-party online payment platform Alipay to roll out the new Standard Chartered – Alipay Express Payment service.
