GlobalCollect selects Quova geolocation data for fraud screening system

Payment services supplier GlobalCollect has integrated internet geolocation data provider Quovas IP geolocation data into its online Fraud Screening Service to track fraudulous online payment transactions.

By comparing web visitors locations when the order is placed with their card details and shipping address, GlobalCollect is able to detect suspicious transactions. By means of Quovas IP geolocation data, GlobalCollect is able to track the location of a web visitor and break down cardholder details including country, state or city level. The GlobalCollect online payment platform provides local e-payment methods and currencies in 200 countries and Apple, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Skype, Tickets.com, Microsoft, Lycos, Blizzard are among its clients.
