Dublin: PayPal to create 100 jobs

Online payments company PayPal is adding 100 staff at to its European Centre of Excellence in Dublin, which manages direct customer contact for PayPal’s businesses in Europe, Irish Times reports.

In 2009, PayPal announced it would invest more than EUR 15 million to support the new center and to train future employees for the new business processes and regional intelligence positions including business analytics, product design, risk management, information technology, operations and merchant services.

Since 2003, when PayPal opened the European Centre of Excellence in Dublin, the number of staff has increased from 25 to more than 1,100.
