Columbus Water Works selects Secure Vault Payments as an online payment option

Thursday 3 March 2011 09:06 CET | News

Utility services provider Columbus Water Works (CWW) has added Secure Vault Payments as an online payment option to their electronic transaction and payment (eTAP) system.

Via the Secure Vault Payments, developed by NACHA-the Electronic Payments Association and its partner eWise, CWW customers are able to initiate payments by selecting their bank from a menu and are automatically directed to their online banking site. After the bank authenticates the customers who choose the account they wish to use, payment is confirmed. Then they are redirected back to a confirmation page on eTAP. CWW receives authorisation and guaranteed payment for the ACH credit from the bank.

The CWW eTAP system is developed by Innoprise Software, a financial and utility software service provider to local governments and utilities.
