Bibit activates the PayPal option for merchants

Electronic payment services provider Bibit has adopted online payment systems supplier PayPals payment method for merchants who utilise the Bibit Redirect and Direct platforms. The service supports payments for merchants across the United States, United Kingdom and Europe.

Part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, Bibit offers customers access to over 75 different payment methods and banks around the world. These methods include credit cards, local debit cards and non card payment services via one platform. PayPal allows any individual or business with an email address to send and receive payments online.Merchants such as Boots, DHL, Harrods, Friends Reunited, New Look and eBay e-commerce sites have also accepted PayPal. In 2007, PayPal processed a total payment volume of USD 47 billion. It has over 141 million accounts around the world and supports payments from 190 markets in 17 global currencies.
