United Arab Emirates-based low-cost airline Air Arabia is to provide customers with an online ticket payment method via a partnership with Islamic financial services provider Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB).

The initiative enables Air Arabia customers to pay for tickets via DIB’s Al Islami online banking services. Al Islami Online enables customers to transfer funds between accounts, make payments to designated accounts, pay utility bills, as well as monitor balances for all accounts, including Al Islami cards. DIB has also announced plans to enable Air Arabia payments via the bank’s e-channel network, including mobile banking, phone banking, cash deposit machines and ATMs.
