Hong Kong-based e-commerce technology platform provider Skyy Services has launched an over-the-counter (OTC) payment option to its SkyyPay service. The new payment method allows Philippinese unbanked consumers to use SkyyPay financial services.

SkyPay is an e-wallet service that offers online payment opportunities through a network of partners which process payments over the internet. SkyyPay combines a modified cash load network with an application technology platform, enabling buyers with or without bank accounts to deposit money or pay for online purchases at any BPI, Metrobank or SM locations across the country.

SkyyPay has also revealed plans to extend its network of collection outlets to more than 10,000 branches by the end of 2011. Skyy Services has branch offices in the Philippines and the US.
