Western Union, a global payment services company, has expanded its Online FX and Online FX for mobile services in France, Germany, Ireland and Italy.

As a result, business clients from these countries will be able to complete bank-to-bank international payments using their computer or mobile device. Businesses can make payments in more than 140 currencies, check exchange rates and fees and receive customer support. The online platform also allows businesses to lock in exchange rates and the recipient will receive the amount expected.

In addition, Western Union has also revealed plans to expand its suite of business payment services in other countries including Lebanon, Peru, Philippines and United Arab Emirates.

In recent news, Western Union has teamed up with La Banque Postale to provide all accountholders of this bank with the Account-Based Money Transfer (ABMT) services.
