Wells Fargo launches My Spending Report with Budget Watch budgeting tool

Wells Fargo has made My Spending Report with Budget Watch online tool available, allowing customers to monitor their personal spending.

The application enables them to track their income and deposits, as well as to access a budget summary which is updated daily and which provides information related to the difference between a customers deposits and spending.
The amount of money which the customer spends as a result of a Wells Fargo credit card, check card or online bill pay transaction is sorted into categories, such as groceries, gas, restaurants and healthcare. As a result, with the help of the online tool, clients can set monthly budget goals for their main spending categories and see the differences between their goal and actual spending by category each business day. My Spending Report with Budget Watch also sends budget alerts throughout the month to let the customer know what the status of his/her budget is.
According to a study released by Javelin Strategy & Research, 15.6 million of the US households would be willing to turn to online banking personal financial management, if available. This number would represent 26 percent of the US online banking population.
