TD Canada Trust named Best Consumer Internet Bank In Canada

TD Canada Trusts has won "Best Consumer Internet bank for Canada" and "Best Consumer Integrated Site in North America," as part of the "Worlds Best Internet Banks" competition by Global Finance. This adds to recent awards from Speer & Associates and Investment Executive that collectively position TD Canada Trust as the online banking leader in Canada, and among the best in North America. The Global Finance award results will be announced formally in the upcoming September 2004 issue of the magazine. There will also be an awards ceremony on October 14, 2004 in New York City. TD Canada Trust was chosen among other entries across North America based on its strength of strategy for attracting and servicing online customers, success in getting clients to use web offerings, breadth of product offerings, evidence of tangible benefits gained from Internet initiatives, and web site design and functionality. The competition was evaluated by a world-class judging panel consisting of representatives from TowerGroup, Bearing Point, Deloitte, Tata Infotech and Global Finance editors.
