The newly-launched service is set to connect brands with online banking consumers in a bid to deliver customized offers based on previous purchasing patterns and user input. Such offers are expected to include electronics, consumer goods, automobiles, as well as lifestyle products and services.
The KulaMula app is available to Yodlee MoneyCenter users and is set to be available for deployment across any financial institution or portal offering Yodlee powered products.
How it works
Consumers who download KulaMula opt in to participate in micro-interviews consisting of between one to three questions with several brands. Then, users are presented with offers for products that have been tailored based on interview responses. However, users who decide not accept the offer are paid in cash for their participation in the micro-interview.
Yodlee currently powers personalized money management services for over 26 million consumers.
