US financial services provider Michigan First Credit Union has launched its new online banking and financial management platform. The platform was developed as a result of a partnership between Michigan First and US online banking software developer Jwaala.

It features tools seeking to allow consumers to create monthly budgets as well as monitor their transactions.

Michigan Firsts online banking system includes an alerts system which can be customised to warn customers when particular types of budget, balance, or transactional activities occur, a remote cheque scan and deposit system and account-to-account online transfers. It also comprises a graphing and reporting function which develops charts and reports to illustrate users’ financial activity, an online bill payment feature, online statements and a search function which allows users to find particular categories of transactions, including credit card ones.
