HSBC Paraguay deploys security tokens and authentication software from Vasco

The Paraguay division of UK-based financial services organisation HSBC teams up with software security company Vasco to deploy the latters Digipass security tokens and Vacman Controller authentication software.

Under the terms of the deal, HSBC Bank Paraguay is set to use Vasco’s technology and software products both for its retail and corporate online banking customers using a two-factor authentication service. Online banking customers who employ the Vasco Digipass security tokens can use them to log into the HSBC PC Banking electronic banking platform, access account information, carry out online money transfers and manage their banking accounts.

HSBC Bank Paraguay currently has 6 branches throughout the country which provide customers with commercial, consumer and corporate banking products and services.
