Banking and financial service provider HSBC launched an internet banking service targeted specifically at the needs of corporate banking customers in Vietnam.

The new service, effective starting on 25 August 2008, allows business customers unrestricted access to their accounts, making for a more cost-effective handling of corporate finances and increased operability of all banking transactions. The Internet banking solution includes various services such as international trade service transactions and automated payments to multiple beneficiaries. The customer’s online transactions are secured using an encryption password code designated by the customer and a time-sensitive security code issued by the bank. Alongside this new business Internet banking service, HSBC also launched a corporate ATM card, which can be used to access and withdraw money directly from corporate accounts. A maximum of three ATM cards can be issued per account for one company.
