Fiserv recorded 3,034 clients for Internet banking as of Sept. 30. Internet banking continues to enjoy growing popularity, with an estimated 29.2 million American households conducting at least a portion of their banking online in 2003, up more than 300 percent from 1999, according to TowerGroup research. The number of households banking online is projected by TowerGroup to reach 42.5 million by 2007.
