Equens selects CoCoNet Multiversa IFP e-banking portal

Germany-based corporate e-banking technology services provider CoCoNet has been selected by Dutch payment processing services company Equens for its Multiversa IFP e-banking portal.

With CoCoNet’s service, Equens is expected to be able to extend its SEPA payment services to its international corporate customers. Equens currently offers corporate payments services for SEPA and national standards for international banks.

The multi-bank portal Multiversa IFP is CoCoNet’s e-banking service for corporate customers that offers centralised processing for payment transactions. The integrated payment system supports SEPA formats according to the EPC regulations. The connectivity options include EBICS and SWIFT Alliance Lite.

CoCoNet provides banks and large corporations with e-banking software solutions which cover national and international payment transactions, format conversion, cash management, e-invoicing and trade finance.

In addition, CoCoNet has recently made its corporate e-banking apps for smartphones available on the BlackBerry devices, namely Torch, Storm and Bold. The app functionality comprises e-banking operations, such as checking balances and transactions of corporate accounts, entering payments, and releasing payments.

In recent news , CoCoNet has entered an agreement with German insurance group Barmenia to implement the former’s Multiversa IFP e-banking portal.
