Digital Insights Internet Banking Solution Outperforms Industry Benchmark, According to Gomez

Digital Insight ( ), announced findings from Gomez, that demonstrated that Digital Insight consistently outperformed a benchmark of its peers.

According to the Gomez study, Digital Insights Internet Banking product solidly outperformed an aggregate benchmark comprised of the online banking solutions of five leading competitors. The Gomez study tested the speed and reliability of online banking solutions provided by Digital Insight and its competitors at selected retail banks across the U.S. Gomez tested the response time and success rate for three primary functions for Internet Banking over a six-week period: transaction history, funds transfer and alert setups utilizing a highly disciplined testing methodology. Multiple tests were conducted from co-location facilities around the U.S. Response time was defined as the time necessary to complete all steps within a transaction. Success rate was defined as the percentage of successfully completed tasks, which did not generate errors. All tests were conducted over a T1 Internet connection to ensure data consistency and result validity. Digital Insight proved to be extremely reliable, consistently achieving success rates for online banking tasks in the 99th percentile.
