DataComm Networks Partner With Beacon Software

Atlanta-based Beacon Software, has partnered with Tampa, Fla.-based DataComm Networks. DataComm, will offer Beacons Compass Internet Banking Platform as an exclusive to its community financial institution customers.In addition, Beacon will market DataComms managed network and security services along with their infrastructure services to its customer base. The Compass Internet Banking Platform, designed for community banks and credit unions, enables financial institutions to create a business-critical Internet presence while securely managing customer information and relationships. Simple, flexible and fully scalable, Compasss integrated software suite offers control and efficiencies with a "modularized approach." The suite includes Internet-based retail banking, business banking, bill payment, bill presentment and marketing support, which all run from a single unified platform. DataComms solutions now include managed network and security for more than 250 financial institutions from its network operations center as well as network upgrades, local area networks, wide area networks, wireless, Internet protocol (IP) telephony, voice over IP, structured cabling, network testing, vulnerability assessments and rollout management. DataComm focuses on community financial institutions and helping them maintain compliance with FDIC security mandates requiring network lockdowns.
