In 2004, Arizona Federal increased member adoption of its online banking and bill payment services by following these best practices. These activities, including the decision to offer online bill pay to its members free of charge, contributed to a 367% increase in users year over year. a significant metric, since online bill pay members are twice as profitable as offline members and online members who do not use bill pay are still one-third more profitable(1).
