Vodafone Australia introduces mobile prepaid top-up via PayPal

Vodafone Australia accepts mobile prepaid top-ups from PayPal account users. Vodafone prepaid users with PayPal accounts can top-up their account using specific phone menu functions or recharge an Extras Pack through Vodafone live!.

The PayPal payment engine authenticates the customer’s identity with a unique user name and password. After each completed transaction, the customer receives a recharge PIN via SMS or email, while the prepaid credit is redeemed with a free call to 1555. Vodafone Italy already introduced prepaid recharge service via PayPal in August 2008.
