US-based electronic payment services provider VeriFone is set to release its PAYware Mobile Enterprise suite, a mobile card acceptance service that integrates with existing in-store PoS systems.

The newly-introduced service is set to incorporate a PCI-approved PIN debit keypad and a 2D bar code scanner for mobile checkout or inventory control tasks. In addition, the product suite is set to feature NFC and EMV capabilities.

Moreover, PAYware Mobile Enterprise is supported by VeriFone’s PAYware Connect gateway for remote payment acceptance. Additionally, the offering is set to incorporate the VeriShield Total Protect service, which provides encryption and tokenization in a centralized framework.

PAYware Mobile Enterprise is expected to be released in early 2011, being initially exhibited at the NRF event in New York.
