With the new app customers can apply for and receive, upon approval, credit for their shopping at participating Ace stores via their iPhone. When the cardholders are ready to make a purchase, they hand their iPhone with the virtual card displayed to an Ace associate at checkout. The app features a link to Ace’s website for customers to view products or find the nearest Ace Hardware store.
The Ace Rewards Visa App allows customers to access account management tools, such as viewing account balances and recent transactions as well as making payments to the account.
The Android version of the Ace Rewards Visa App is set to be rolled out in Q3 2012.
