UPS and GCash partner for seamless, cashless payments

Tuesday 5 April 2022 14:36 CET | News

Global shipping and logistics company UPS has partnered with digital wallet GCash to offer Filipino businesses and clients a new seamless, cashless payment solution.

Shippers and recipients from the Philippines can now instantly pay for UPS’ logistics services and settle any outstanding shipment-related charges through the GCash digital payment app. The Philippines market is going through an extended digitisation process that gives customers cashless alternative payment methods that are secure, safe, and instant. GCash represents one of the many digital wallets in the country regulated by BSP (the Central Bank of the Philippines) and counts for over 55 million registered users.

By leveraging GCash’s mobile payments technology, UPS can enhance and expand its business in the country, providing improved customer experience, payment convenience, and minimising package delays due to outstanding duties and taxes.
