NTT Docomo, Softbank and KDDI are already selling mobile phones with NFC in Japan and are set to launch a Visa Paywave service on their mobile phones.
Customers having a Visa card are set to be able to apply for Visa Paywave through their website. Then, if they are accepted to have Visa Paywave, a letter is sent to them. With this letter, they are able to issue Visa Paywave on their NFC mobile phone by means of installing personal data and the Paywave app.
In recent news, Swiss-based authentication and e-signature services provider Vasco Data Security has been selected by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation for its DIGIPASS 275.
