Singapore: OCBC Bank rolls out mobile banking app for Android users

The Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC), a financial services provider in Southeast Asia, has launched a mobile banking app for Android-powered mobile phones.

The OCBC Android mobile banking app is set to allow users to scan barcodes to obtain billing details and carry out payments from their OCBC Bank accounts. Thus, the app is expected to enable users to view bank account transactions and balances, track credit card transactions, pay bills online, transfer funds to other bank accounts online, as well as locate the nearest OCBC Bank branch and ATMs.

The app is currently available for Singapore users.

OCBC Bank has a network of more than 500 branches and offices in 15 countries and territories, including 382 branches and offices in Indonesia operated by its subsidiary, Bank OCBC NISP.
