Under the deal, Shopkick allows mobile users to earn redeemable ‘kicks’ by choosing to link their Visa debit or credit cards into its new Buy & Collect program and then making qualifying purchases at participating shopkick merchants with the linked card.
At the core of the Shopkick mobile shopping app is the Shopkick Signal location-based technology, which lets the user’s shopkick app detect its presence in enrolled stores, automatically crediting rewards to the consumer’s account and delivering offers relevant to that retail location.
