Seamless, Micros-Fidelio partner for mobile payments service

Tuesday 5 June 2012 10:00 CET | News

Swedish mobile commerce software company Seamless has entered an agreement with Micros-Fidelio, a subsidiary of Micros Systems, a provider of information technology services for the hospitality and retail industries.

Under the agreement, Seamless is set to enable MICROS-Fidelios customers to integrate their POS systems with its mobile payment service dubbed SEQR.

Seamless’s SEQR mobile payment service allows consumers to scan a QR code either at the cash register, on the Internet or on their bill to approve the amount being deducted from their bank accounts. The QR code identifies the payment recipient who is connected to Seamless’s transaction platform and consumers pay directly from their bank accounts or credit providers.

In recent news, Swedish food retailer Axfood has entered an agreement with Seamless to test Seamless’s SEQR payment service at two of its stores.
