Scotiabank expands mobile banking apps to the Caribbean

Canada-based financial services provider Scotiabank has launched a mobile app for customers in 20 Caribbean countries.

The app comes in addition to Scotiabank’s existing mobile services, which are now available for iPhone, BlackBerry and Android users in Canada.

Via the Scotiabank mobile app , customers have access to their account balances and transactions details. Also, users can pay bills and transfer money between accounts.

Scotia Mobile allows users to locate Scotiabank branches and ATMs across Canada and the Caribbean with the ‘Find Us’ feature.

In March 2011, Scotiabank has added the Visa payWave contactless payment feature to its line of credit cards.
