A Rossmann app update indicates the new function. Scan & Go should allow users to scan the products with the app, put them in the basket and can pay directly at the checkout. To use this function, Bluetooth must be activated and the customer must be connected to the Rossmann WiFi.
When using the QR code, Rossmann branch identification must be carried out with each Scan & Go process. If a customer consents to branch detection via WLAN or Bluetooth, only a one-time permit is needed and the branch is then recognised automatically. After scanning the products, customers receive an overview of the scanned products and possible coupons for them in the shopping cart.
