Revel Systems integrates with Adyen for mPOS payment service

Revel Systems, a US-based iPad point-of-sale (POS) solutions provider, has entered an agreement with Adyen, the Netherlands-based global payment services company, to include the chip and PIN card standard and extend its operations into Europe.

Adyen’s portable chip and PIN payment service called Adyen Shuttle is a mobile POS (mPOS) device that connects to iOS and Android smartphones or tablets wirelessly via a Bluetooth connection.

Revel works with a number of retail brands in the US to provide the cability to take orders, process payments, analyse sales and track inventory at POS. With Revel’s expansion into Europe, the integration with Adyen is set to streamline the process for EMV cards where users are requested to use chip and PIN.

Revel Systems iPad POS was founded in 2010 in San Francisco, California and is focused on combining cloud-based technology and the mobility of the iPad. Moreover, Revel Systems iPad POS is PCI compliant. Revel Systems software offers POS solutions for restaurants, retail and grocery establishments with integrated payroll, inventory tracking, customer relationship management and others.

Adyen is a global company offering omni-channel payment services. It supports 187 transaction currencies, 14 settlement currencies and 224 preferred local payment methods used on six continents.

In recent news, PhotoBox, a leading personalised product printing company, and Adyen have extended their partnership to France and the UK.
