Qpass Expands with Acquisition of ucp morgen

Qpass has acquired ucp morgen, headquartered in Vienna, Austria. ucp morgen is a leading provider of content delivery software for network operators, portals and content providers.

This acquisition accelerates the Qpass global market expansion strategy and broadens the companys product line to encompass the management of the entire digital supply chain. ucp morgen software powers service offerings on behalf of operators and portals which enable tens of millions of mobile subscribers in North America and Europe to shop for and purchase digital products and services. ucp morgen customers today include T-Mobile International (UK, Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, Czech Republic), Hutchison 3G, HT Mobile, Danger Inc., and several mobile Internet portals. With this acquisition, more than 300 content providers and aggregators, who provide more than 500,000 applications and digital products, are integrated to and selling through Qpass software. ucp morgens 60 employees maintain offices in Austria, UK and the U.S. The combined company has approximately 250 employees and serves more than 25 customers, including 18 mobile operators in North America and Europe who together have more than 140 million subscribers. Global headquarters will remain in Seattle, Wash., with European headquarters in Vienna, Austria. Qpass and ucp morgen are both privately held companies.
