Qatar: QNB rolls out mobile banking application

Financial services provider Qatar National Bank (QNB) has introduced a mobile banking application for BlackBerry mobile users.

Dubbed eazymobile, the application is an extension of the banks eazylife set of electronic banking services (e-services), enabling customers to gain access to these services via the mobile channel, as well as BlackBerry handsets. Clinets can review accounts, credit cards and transaction activity as well as review summary statements on their phone displays. They can also check available credit on their credit cards and transfer funds between their own QNB accounts or pay Kahrama utilities bills as well as Qtel bills.

The eazymobile application connects to QNBs banking network via internet services provided over GPRS, 3G, WLAN or WiFi connections. The eazylife set of electronic banking channels includes eazyinternet, eazymobile, eazyphone, eazySMS, eazyATM and eazystatement.
