Global micropayments services provider Prepay Nation has entered a partnership with Gambia-based 3G mobile services provider QCell.

Under the terms of the deal, both parties are expected to allow local users international top up services and the use of mobile money on the Prepay Nation’s platform.

In addition, the agreement is set to offer international airtime purchase offerings to Gambians at Prepay Nation’s over 150,000 plus partner retail locations, as well as the option to transfer small remittances of funds for their friends and family.

Later on, the partnership is expected to use the same distribution channel and the customer base to fund the QCell m-wallet accounts remotely.
