Pokemon Go plans to add NFC capabilities for trading

Tuesday 19 July 2016 11:56 CET | News

Pokemon Go has announced that will soon allow players to trade Pokemon via NFC capabilities.

This is a highly anticipated feature that will give users new ways to collect Pokemon. NFC trading option will be available to some players, but not all of them, as it requires hardware support, according to bgr.com. Most smartphones come with built-in NFC chips used to handle mobile payments and other features, but older devices don’t have one.

Pokemon trading is one of the features that will be added to the game in upcoming updates, according to PokeGoFans. Pokemon Go trading will be done using NFC meaning that users can share Pokemons without any cable by touching two phones together.

There will be other trading options also available.
