Payment Data Systems selects Futurex for hardware security module

US electronic payments services provider Payment Data Systems has selected Futurex, a provider of data encryption security solutions, for the latter’s Excrypt SSP9000 hardware security module.

Under the agreement, Payment Data Systems is set to deploy the Futurex Excrypt SSP9000 hardware security module with its iRemotePay mobile application.

iRemotePay is a mobile payments application that is initially set to be available for iPhone, iPad and iTouch devices. The application is set to allow users to process credit card and ACH payments (electronic cheques) remotely and view payment transactions while on-the-go.

Payment Data Systems is an integrated payment services provider to merchants, billers, banks, service bureaus and card issuers. In recent news, the company has rolled out the Debit Only card payment method product.
