The joint service will enable customers to send money to their friends and relatives living abroad as well as recharge their mobile prepaid accounts via SMS, the Internet or point of sales.  Transfer To provides global airtime transfer services which enables prepaid customers of various mobile operators to send small amounts of money back home or to top-up their own account while roaming. SMS international credit transfers can be as low as USD 1. paybox‘s Mobiliser portfolio addresses mobile Commerce, mobile top-up and mobile Money related opportunities for mobile operators and financial service providers in both developed as well as emerging markets. The partnership brings together mobile operators from all over the world. paybox’s savings and payment system enables customers to open their accounts while on the go, remotely save money into their accounts, buy top-up cards, pay utility bills, send money to friends and relatives, withdraw cash at agents’ locations or ATMs and get access to credit and make investments. paybox and Transfer To have already launched a joint service for an operator in Malaysia, to enable Indonesian workers living in Malaysia, to send airtime to their relatives at home directly by sending a SMS and paying via their Mobile Money service.
