Financial institution National Bank of Oman (NBO) has launched a mobile banking service delivered by IND Group, a European developer and provider of banking front-office products.

The NBO mobile banking service is available for NBO retail accountholders in Oman and is set to allow users to access their accounts and initiate transactions from locations where they can use their mobile phones.

Using the NBO mobile banking service, customers can check their balance across their NBO accounts, view transaction history and pay their credit card and utility bills. The channel is set to provide customers with the option of making third party transfers between NBO customers. In addition, customers can also transfer funds worldwide or to accountholders in other banks in Oman.

In recent news, global financial institution Raiffeisen Bank International has introduced the ZUNO BANK online banking service, powered by technology developed by the IND Group.
