mPayy launches iPhone m-payment application

Tuesday 5 January 2010 09:11 CET | News

US-based mobile and online alternative payment services provider mPayy introduces the mPayy Mobile Payments application from the iTunes store for download to iPhones and iPod Touches.

As a result of the initiative, mPayy Personal and Business accountholders will be able to use the iPhone application for P2P payments, to track activity, and withdraw funds from their mPayy accounts to linked bank accounts. Business accountholders can also issue refunds for any sale via the application, including for sales on their website. After opening Business accounts, members can generate their own API key to unlock mPayys payment services and add debit payments to their online or mobile websites and applications. The API keys may be used to authorise one-time or recurring billing subscription payments for digital content and other services.

In December 2009, mPayy introduced a mobile payments application available in the Android marketplace for phones that run the Android operating system.
