Thursday 22 November 2012 10:58 CET | News

Belgian telecom company Mobistar is set to launch a direct carrier billing service that allows Windows Phone users who are Mobistar customers to pay for their content purchases on Marketplace via their mobile phone bills.

With the new service consumers are set to be able to pay for Windows Phone content on Marketplace via their mobile phone bills. When a Mobistar customer wants to buy an application on Marketplace, they need to confirm that they wish to pay for the content by deferment to their mobile phone bill. An e-mail detailing the applications downloaded is then sent to the consumer.

Mobistar is currently active in mobile voice and data traffic, as well as landline telephony, ADSL, TV and other markets.
