Mobile card processing start-up SumUp launches in France, Belgium and Portugal

Irish company SumUp has gone live with its mobile card processing offering in France, Belgium and Portugal enabling businesses in these countries to sign up to the service through the SumUp application or via the SumUp website and accept credit and debit card payments while on-the-go.

SumUp was founded in 2011 and it targets merchants and small businesses which cannot afford the costs and infrastructure required for traditional card payment acceptance services. SumUp is currently available in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands.
