Michael Keough Joins Q Comm As CEO/President

Michael D. Keough has agreed to join Q Comm International as Chief Executive Officer and President, replacing Terry Kramer.

Mr. Keough will begin work immediately and will officially take over the CEO role on December 17. Mr. Kramer has accepted a position as Chief of Staff for Arun Sarin, CEO of Vodafone Group. Kramer previously worked for 12 years at AirTouch Communications, a wireless carrier that Vodafone acquired in 1999. Mr. Kramer and his family will be relocating to London. Under Mr. Kramer’s leadership, Q Comm was able to reach several key milestones: • Added seven new members to both the Board of Directors and management team • Raised $3 million in equity capital • Upgraded and redesigned the corporate logo and website • Built a national sales organization • Refined the sales model and repositioned the sales force with a new commission structure focusing on an increased average margin per unit rather than number of shipments • Became officially certified by Verifone as a Value Added Partner • Closed $880,000 in equipment lease financing • Increased revenues during the first nine months of 2004 to $28.3 million, a 53% increase from the same period in 2003 Kramer is credited with building the company’s product offering, service level, and sales organization. Mr. Keough will bring seasoned leadership in driving sales growth. Previous to joining Q Comm, Mr. Keough served as Chief Executive Officer, President, and Chief Strategy Officer of ClearOne Communications, a $60M publicly traded company with 265 employees specializing in audio, video, and web- based conferencing products and services. During his tenure there from 2002 to 2004, shareholder value increased over 600%. In a 12-month period, Mr. Keough was able to increase international sales from less than 10% of overall product sales revenue to over 35%. ClearOne’s product sales as a whole increased over 60% during Mr. Keough’s time as CEO. From 1998 to 2002, Mr. Keough served as Senior Vice President of World Wide Sales for Tempo, a division of Textron, and Learnframe. His responsibilities there included building multinational sales organizations, developing strategic partnerships, and winning business from such clients as Bell South, SBC, Ameritech, Verizon, Quest, Corning, and JDS Uniphase. From 1993 to 1997, Mr. Keough worked as Sr.Vice President of Sales for Megahertz and Vice-President of Sales for the Mobile Communications Division of USRobotics, both acquired by the 3Com Corporation. After the acquisitions, he became the Vice President of Channel Sales for 3Com, where he was responsible for a $2.2 billion annual revenue objective for all of 3Com’s product offerings, while managing approximately 250 people. Other previous sales management positions for Mr. Keough include, Director of Western U.S. Sales for the Andrew Corporation, Data Sales Manager for AT&T Information Systems, and as a Sales Training Instructor/Marketing Representative for IBM. Mr. Keough has been recognized with many performance-based honors and awards from all of these companies over the years. He earned both an Executive MBA and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington.
