mCheck mobile bill payment available for You Telecom users

Wednesday 10 December 2008 16:13 CET | News

Indian internet service provider You Telecom now offers an SMS-based mobile bill payment option to its customers with mChek. This service will only be available to postpaid users, but is to be extended to the prepaid users as well.

In order to make a payment, customers send an SMS to a number provider by the company. After this, users receive an automated call on the phone or on USSD to authorise their payment by entering their mCheck PIN. After the payment is processed and the amount is credited to the user’s You Telecom account, the customer receives an SMS informing him the payment was confirmed.

The mCheck option is available on mcheck.com. At present, You Telecom operates in twelve major cities including Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Gurgagon.
