US provider of business and financial management services Intuit has made the Intuit GoPayment mobile app available for Android 3.0 Honeycomb-powered smartphones.

The GoPayment for Honeycomb app is set to enable users to take photos of frequently sold items as well as drag and drop these items, authorize transactions with touch screen signature and swipe cards.

Intuit has exhibited the GoPayment for Honeycomb app at Google’s Android event and is also expected to display it at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona.

Intuit GoPayment is a mobile phone app which enables small businesses to process credit cards on the go. To use the service, clients need to install the GoPayment app on their web-enabled mobiles, as well as open an Intuit GoPayment merchant account. The app enables users to review transactions online and synchronize them with QuickBooks.

The Intuit GoPayment suite employs 128-bit SSL encryption in order to provide data transmission protection.
