Ingenico launches H24 mobile app in Spain

Tuesday 4 September 2012 13:51 CET | News

French-based provider of payment services Ingenico has launched a mobile application for smartphone and tablet users in Spain.

The new application allows users to plan travel itineraries, geolocate petrol stations and detect speed cameras, as well as access information about their cards. The application provides information about H24 service stations that belong to Ingenico’s H24 multibrand network. Users can also access the route planner. In this case, the app generates a recommended route and also lists H24 petrol stations and alerts drivers about fixed speed cameras.

The H24 card is aimed at companies that have their own car and small utility vehicle fleets. Service users are set to be able to monitor card activity from their smartphones and block the card if lost or stolen.

In recent news, Ingenico in collaboration with Visa payWave has finalized the deployment of Ingenico terminals across the retail chain Sedmoy Continent (The Seventh Continent) in the Russian Federation.
