Grab has boosted customers’ Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) choices in Singapore and Malaysia by expanding its partnership with payment company Adyen.

Through the deepened partnership, which was initially inked in 2016, merchants who offer payments via the GrabPay wallet will now be able to offer PayLater payment methods at checkout through the e-wallet. Customers may choose between paying over four installments via PayLater Instalments or settle the bill the following month through PayLater Postpaid.

Zalora, GrabPay noted, saw a 20% increase in new shoppers after adding deferred payment through Adyen on its online shop. The shopping site also saw a 15% increase in customers using GrabPay to complete their purchases.
